About the event
Join us at our next Dessert and Jazz Series event. As the weather warms up - it is the perfect time to come out and enjoy some jazz! We will have a featured jazz musician performing for the evening - the John Ray Trio. Of course, we will be serving up delicious spring time desserts, including our namesake signature flavor - Red Velvet! Drinks including beer, wine and cocktails will be available for purchase at our private bar.
About John Ray
John Ray (Mr. Haircut) is a jazz bassist and composer. He has performed and toured with bands from all over the country for over 20 years. He has shared the stage with groups including The Roots, Gap Band, Common, Wu Tang Clan, The New Deal, George Clinton, Oteil Burbridge, The Platters, The Temptations, The Funky Knuckles, Jonathan Scales Fourchestra, Jazz is Phish, and more! John is fluent with keyboard bass as well as upright, 4, 5, and 6 string basses.
TRIO MEMBERS
John will be joined by Kassem Williams on the drums and Michael Kinchen on the Saxophone and Keys.
